For florists

How we help florists with holiday orders, weddings and deliveries

People find a florist online, then order for a holiday, send flowers to someone or ask about a wedding. Below is what we set up for each, on apps you already use, and how we keep it running.

If orders come in by phone, DM and email today, we put them in one place. If you already sell through Square or Shopify, you keep it.

The examples use Aldwick Flower Studio, a made-up florist, so you can picture your own.

When a holiday is coming

Holidays bring a rush of orders in a few days, and each one has a recipient, an address and a card message to get right.

We set up a pre-order page for the holiday with delivery or pickup windows, a card message and payment by card. Every paid order lands in one sheet, sorted by delivery window with the card messages, and a total for each arrangement so you know how many to make.

When someone asks about a wedding or event

Wedding and event inquiries usually start with a message and a few photos, and the details end up spread across texts, DMs and email.

We add an inquiry form that asks for the date, the kind of event, the number of tables, colors, budget and inspiration photos. It reaches your inbox in one piece, and when you send your proposal, it includes a link to pay the deposit that holds the date.

When you have something new

Customers need to hear about Valentine's Day or Mother's Day flowers before the order deadline, not after.

We set up an email list, and a text list for customers who opt in, and post the same news on your site so the shop page is always current.

Tulips, roses and our garden bouquet are up for Valentine’s Day. Order by Wednesday, February 10 for delivery on February 13 or 14.

What we set up: Announcement emails and texts, with the same news on your site.

After the delivery

The person who ordered usually isn't there when the flowers arrive, so they want to know the flowers got there.

When an order is delivered, the sender gets a text with a photo. A day later, they get a thank-you with a link to leave a review.

How we start

We begin with a short call about how orders reach you now. Then we build a pre-order page for your next holiday for free, with delivery windows, card messages, payment and an order sheet. You can use it whether or not you work with us.

If you want more, we build the other pieces one at a time and maintain them after launch.
